It’s interesting to note that before Stefanik was elected, the district was represented by Bill Owens, a blue canine, average Democrat. Stefanik, who was once a reasonable Republican, has been efficiently reelected by extensive margins. The problem now is that she has eschewed her unbiased center floor for positions that are seen as absurd. Congresswoman Elise Stefanik’s name was all around the news earlier this week.
We should be reconsidering giving somebody of the ilk of Elise Stefanik a free cross to re-election. Rep. Liz Cheney speaks to reporters after her removing as chair of the House Republican Conference on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., May 12, 2021. “These are tough points and I think we’re all trying to determine out, is bipartisanship possible these days?” stated Charles Stewart III, a professor of political science at MIT. But they needed more transparency on the choice to embrace Stefanik, they said, and needed to know how the Endowment would react to attacks on American democracy sooner or later. “We have seen a vindictiveness in some quarters of the Republican Party geared toward efforts to hold them accountable for what one may name counter-democratic actions,” the third source stated. “It’s not something to be dismissed out of hand.”
Her “obligations” to pursue her truths are merely a thinly veiled try to overturn an election that didn’t assist her desired result. Please, Ms. Stefanik, again up your claims with facts and figures and something a bit more substantive. Give me one thing to chew on right here, then I will hear expansive infrastructure hits close home mcconnell. Peter your hate and bias for a white female republican is clear. I am glad I didn’t renew my subscription to the Adirondack Explorer. I am not right here to convince a single soul whose mind is already made up and regurgitates media speaking factors virtually forbatum.
Yes,they have been principally Republicans, however Republicans who were intelligent and reasonable of their views and policies. Some had been financial “conservatives” however “progressive” when it got here to educational, well being, and social services, and that was true of both events and true of most North Country voters. A actually considerate and meticulously documented piece–not all the time the case in ‘opinion’ items and positively not now the case within the verbal pieces that emanate from Representative Stefanik. I for one, think politics and politicians are all a half of “theater”.
As in all crimes, there IS proof somewhere, and eventually the reality will come out. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to reckon that people who do hateful things are hated. I am sure the editors would publish ANY properly written article. There is disrespectful diatribe occurring on all sides.
